Alan Colmes
 |
Just as the American hostages were being seized
by the Iranian government in 1979, Alan Colmes
began doing talk radio. One of his first radio
exploits was to call the American embassy in
Tehran. Shortly after his dialogue with a
student named "Z" the U.S. state department
banned all calls to Iran. This type of
sharp-sightedness got Alan noticed. Colmes went
from major market success to national talk radio
prominence in 1990 as a partner and on-air host
for the Daynet radio network. By 1994, his
fast-paced and informative afternoon news-driven
show aired daily on hundreds of affiliates
nationwide. Soon after, in 1996 FOX News Channel
CEO Roger Ailes tapped Alan to co-host the
channel's nightly primetime debate show "Hannity
and Colmes," which is now the second
most-watched cable news show and the first-ever
program to topple Larry King head-to-head.
Show." As the host of "The Alan Colmes Show,"
Alan provides listeners with insightful
commentary on current issues from around the
globe and discusses the hottest topics.
Respected by Democrats and Republicans, his
blend of honesty, wit and unpredictability make
him one of the most successful,
independent-minded hosts in national media
today. |

George Noory

Art Bell

Ian Punnett
 |
George Ralph Noory
(born
June 4,
1950) is an American radio broadcaster.
As of 2006, he is the weekday
host of the late-night
radio
talk show
Coast to Coast AM. Noory was born in
Detroit, Michigan; but he grew up in
Dearborn Heights, Michigan. He now resides
in
Los Angeles, California and occasionally
broadcasts from
St. Louis, Missouri. Noory has more than 37
years of broadcasting experience and has won
three
Emmy awards.
Arthur "Art" W. Bell, III
(June
17,
1945) is an
American
broadcaster and
author, known primarily as the founder and a
longtime host of the
paranormal-themed radio program
Coast to Coast AM. He also created and
formerly hosted its companion show,
Dreamland.
Between June and December of
2006, Bell broadcasted
Coast to Coast AM from
Metro Manila in the
Philippines. However, on December 27, 2006,
he returned to the United States with his wife
(apparently after delays in immigration issues)
and continued broadcasting on Coast to Coast
AM the next day with author
Graham Hancock[1].
Case Ian Punnett
(born
March 3,
1960 in
Wilmette, Illinois) is an American radio
broadcaster, who has appeared on national news
programs for
CNN. He is a former host of
widely-syndicated
Coast to Coast AM, created by
Art Bell, where he hosted every Sunday night
from April 2000 until December 2001 and then
every Saturday night from June 2005 until
January 2006 when he started hosting
Coast to Coast Live also on Saturdays. His
Coast to Coast audience has nicknamed him
affectionately, "Church Boy" or the
Ferret or Chad Bonesteel.
On
January 21,
2006 Punnett announced that the original
host,
Art Bell, would be returning each Saturday
and Sunday to broadcast the show. Punnett moved
to Coast to Coast Live with Ian Punnett,
a new, four hour program, on
January 28,
2006. The new show occupies a slot (6 pm-10
pm PST/9 pm-1 am EST) where Coast to Coast AM
had offered repeats of earlier shows for
stations which carried the show earlier than the
1 am EST/10 pm PST live start time. As such,
many existing Coast to Coast AM
affiliates automatically carried the new program
from its first night and in subsequent months
several new affiliates have come on board.
Currently, the affiliate count stands around
200. In his short time hosting Coast to Coast
Live, Punnett has developed a loyal
following of his own. He always opens the show
with the "reminder" of 'hostile invading aliens'
hovering just beyond earth's atmosphere to 'Eat
the Canadians first', saying they are 'much
tastier' than Americans. |

Dr. Dean Edell
 |
In 1978, Edell
began broadcasting regularly on
KGO AM 810 radio in San Francisco. The
Dr. Dean Edell radio program has been in
continuous production since then, and is
currently (2005) syndicated to 90 markets by
Premiere Radio Networks, and airs weekends
on
Extreme XM on
XM Radio. The
program's format includes commentary from Edell
and medical-related calls from listeners. He
reports recent developments in medical science
and exposes fraud whenever he sees it, which is
often, particularly in the area of food
supplements and holistic healing. He frequently
summarizes complicated medical material into
language that is easily understood by laymen,
and is fond of tackling controversial concepts
from a viewpoint based on the scientific method.
During most of the program,
Edell takes medical questions from callers and
provides answers as capable. Edell is extremely
critical of drugs such as
Ritalin and the increasing number of
diagnoses for
attention deficit disorder (ADD) among
children, based partially on Edell's own
experience as someone diagnosed with ADD. He
also is critical of routine
circumcision.

One
of the most legendary and prolific sports
commentators. Bob Costas brings the biggest
names in sports and entertainment to your
station with an unparalleled interviewing style.
Bob’s
love of radio led him back to the medium in 1986
when he inaugurated the very popular syndicated
program “Costas Coast to Coast.” The weekly, two
hour program ran for ten years, until 1996. Now,
a decade later, Clear Channel Radio has asked
Bob to bring the program back, and “Coast to
Coast” returns in September of 2006 with the
same weekly two-hour mix of interviews and
commentary that made it so well received during
its first run.
Bob Costas is a native of Queens,
New York and grew up on Long Island. He attended

Matt Drudge
 |
Matt Drudge is the Internet's hottest scoopster
and the one-man news bureau.
Drudge exudes the
take-no-prisoners attitude that has also earned
him a talk show on the FOX News Channel and
highly publicized guest spots on Meet The Press
and Nightline as well as widespread scorn from
his journalism colleagues. Drudge is the author
of The Drudge Report, the widely read Internet
website that focuses on political news and the
business of Hollywood, where he exposed the
Monica Lewinsky scandal to the world and scooped
Newsweek.
Drudge was raised in Takoma
Park, Maryland, where he was a "loner" and a
news junkie, a kid who grew up with talk radio
as company. His first jobs included the night
shift at a 7-11 and selling TIME Life books over
the phone. He moved to Los Angeles in 1989 and
started The Drudge Report in 1995. He was
managing the CBS studio gift shop and thought it
would be an amusing hobby to use the 'Net to
relay the gossip he overheard. Drudge's declared
aim is to give "the American people" the
information he believes to be correct or
important, and to revolutionize the media
industry with a breath of fresh, young air .
